'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League homecoming

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment midway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the initial important trophy of his notable career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England skipper has now suggested that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he previously was, and would definitely think about lengthening his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has gone down a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.

"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
